Part Time Community Alcohol Worker - 24 Hours per week Fixed Term
Surrey Alcohol Brief Intervention Service (SABIS), Surrey

£22,614 (pro rata)

We are currently looking for a part time Comminity Alcohol Worker to joing the team at SABIS. The purpose of this role is to provide a brief intervention service in Surrey for alcohol users comprising a range of educational and harm minimisation sessions, structured interventions and onward referral of clients in order to support crime reduction and improved health in the county. To be successful you will need a detailed knowledge and understanding of the range of interventions for alcohol misusers as well as knowledge of current alcohol policy and strategy in the UK. You will also have at least one year's experience of working with the client group and a clear understanding of, and ability to deliver, quality services. There is some flexibility required for this post with working hours variable between 8.00am and 9.00pm Monday to Friday, and 8.00am to noon on Saturdays, and occasional need to visit clients in their own homes.This is a fixed term contract for one year with a possibility of extension. Applicants must have thier own transport as travel between locations is required.

CARAT Administrator

We are looking for a dynamic administrator to work with our team at HMP Wormwood Scubs. To be successful, experience of IT and databases is essential, as are good communication skills. You will also need to be efficient and enthusiastic to work within the challenging environment of a prison.
